Siegfried Hall: Chapel of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom

“The afflicted and the needy seek water in vain, their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them.” (Isaiah 41)

Our Advent pilgrimage today brings us to the chapel of Siegfried Hall, where we see a statue of St. Jude, patron saint of impossible causes. Through Jude’s intercession, Christians seek healing for those in great need, like the afflicted who cry out in today’s scripture passage.

As we spend time here in prayer, let us ask: where do we need God’s healing in our lives today?

Physical ….emotional…relationships, all need to be recalabrated to understanding, respect and dignity. a commitment to honor and love one another.yes we thirst for water and yet we go to the wrong source.. we go to people who have pain also and we don’t want to burden them with our pain .we must turn to the LIGHT of the world for help.Cast our burdens on the Lord who will give us LIVING WATER and dissolve our pain and problems.
