“When I finally made it to Notre Dame, I also got to join my older brother, Graham, who was a junior on the team during my first year. Having my brother beside me with my dad as our coach has been a special experience, and the memories we share from this time are some that I will cherish for the rest of my life.”
As we prepare for the birth of our Lord this Advent season, who are those people who help us to prepare? How do they strengthen our courage and perseverance to take on the challenges we are given so that we may glorify God in all we do?

may God bless you and your family this Christmas season. Please say a special hello to your mom. I had the privilege of being with her as you and ND played in the NCAA tournament last year in Albany. It was a special time that I will always remember. Go Irish!
Thank you for sharing your sacred story Landon. It is obvious your family is a great source of love and encouragement for you, as a family should be. What a beautiful blessing your particular family is!! I enjoyed hearing about your family’s history with the university and how you were lovingly encouraged to become a ND student & hockey player. Congrats on being a successful member of the ND hockey team!! My husband and I enjoy watching a game or two every season when we visit the campus. May you continue to be greatly graced by your faith, loving family, and your experiences as both a ND student and hockey player. A very merry Christmas to you!
